Hey Im targeting my website on two keywords "debate motions" and "debate topics". Whenever I have added the site in any directory, I use the link "Debate motions and debate topics". I think that this gives me high SERPs on both of the keywords. When I check he keywords in google webmaster tools, I see that this is the most used keyword tht the google crawl sees for my website. Am I doing it right or should I use one or the other keyword for links to my website? Thanks P.
I think I read that if the anchor text is too uniform Google will think it looks unnatural so its probably best to have a few variations of anchor text that you're working on. Of course, make sure the pages have those words in the content, especially bold, headlined, or in the URL name too.
you should always think at this thing: Engine SPAM. if you're submitting links with same title, same description... engines will consider your listing as spam and it will penalize it try doing it with 5 different titles, 5 different descriptions. that helps a lot. it looks more natural, and don't use automatic submissions. those aren't too great
ok, I will start do use a couple of different anchors, and this will probably make it better. Thanks P.
