I have a website that I wont be able to work on for a while. Is there anything I should do while its parked that would help it rank once it was launched? Thank you
Google wont bother to list parked sites high in rankings because it knows there's nothing on them apart from a few advertising links. Once your parked site gets crawled and recognized as parked then the Google bot wont be very persistent on checking back so quickly next time...Im not sure there is anything you can do to improve the ranking while its parked, just id recommend setting up a site map as soon as you work on it to let google know its not parked anymore.
