I have also a fresh site. I cannot advise you what to do because I'm new to blogging also. But what I did is I load my blog articles with content rich and I'm not yet applying for adsense. I also do keyword searching and optimization.
First and most important thing - Add quality content (Simply and simply concentrate on your content first) After that you can start with Social Bookmarking Service or directory submission or may be with article submission.
OK First of all did you submit you site to google webmaster tools?if no do it.also submit to all search engines.you this tool to submit automatically http://www.submitexpress.com/free-submission.html 1)I checked you site and found that google has not indexed your pages that because its fresh site.wait for the spider to do its job. 2)Add metatags in this format <TITLE>your site title</TITLE> <meta content='description about your site, must contain keywords that matches with the keywords you add' name='description'/> <meta content='keywords' name='keywords'/> <meta content='your name' name='author'/> <meta content='ALL' name='ROBOTS'/> <meta content='blogger' name='generator'/> 3)I already analysed your Metatags and found some errors check this out 4)To analyze meta tags use the tool i mentioned in my below post" Full featured website analyzer" http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2030017 5)Use rel="external nofollow" when you add a link on your site(this advice was from my friend optimizer) Example : <a href="any site link" rel="external nofollow">site name</a> 6)Your page loads faster, but make sure this should always be like this 7)Concentrate on the content now also work on the SEO side by side 8)Linking within your post is very important, build more inbound links 9)Try getting back-links from pr sites from your niche 10)submit to major (top) bookmarking sites check this post of mine http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2011113&page=2 11)submit to top blog directories 12)you site much contain at least one form.(add a contact form) use http://kontactr.com/ very simple to use. 13)make your site attractive.change its theme. 14)The font is not good.use some simple but good font
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this. You really made a good job on explaining what to do with a fresh. I'll take this tips from you.
i mainly use profile links and blog commenting. other methods are fine too but i prefer those two methods i mentioned. try the other basics...article writing, press releases, social bookmarking..etc..
Focus on getting major directory listings so that you can have domain authority. Yahoo and BOTW are two that will give you a push.
i am agree with lalit barma.you shoul use quality constant with that you can male profitable site or not make your site social bookmarking site
thanks, this is a tutorial for me.. never knew bout it.. really appreciate it.. yeaah.. i just focusing on my content now.. thanks
First of all create an SEO plan for your website. This includes 1> Write quality content 2> Submit the content to various social bookmarking and sharing sites like Digg, twitter, facebook etc... 3> Developing backlinks by commenting on others websites and Blogs. 4> Write posts for e zines and article directories. This way you can get thousands of backlinks when people start redistributing your articles.
The SEO plan is above is great. What's true in print media is true on the web: Content is King. Write articles people actually want to read. Get your site laid out to the article title, headers, bold text, and text work with the keywords you're targeting. That's why you see so many "How to do X" or "12 ways to Y" articles on the web. People search for answers. So give them some answers. People also search on hot topics. I ran a celebrity blog a few years back. If I put "Paris Hilton" in the title, I'd get a few hits just because she was THE celeb to follow back then. Then work on back links. Guest blog posts, directory submissions, etc. Write something really cool and you just might land on Digg/Reddit/Twitter/etc. It takes time. Keep going and you can build it. A 19-year-old kid in Scotland built the blog Mashable from the ground up and it's one of the top blogs out there. There's nothing wrong with being 19 or being from Scotland, but it's a long way from the Silicon Valley college grads (well, most of them) he writes about.
