What should I do with my domain?

    I have owned the domain named www.netbasedbiz.com for a couple of years now and have done absolutely nothing with it. It has a PR of 3, gets chached by Google every 4 or 5 days, and currently has an empty Wordpress blog on it with no entries.

    I would like to monetize this domain but have no idea where to start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Well by now you should know that it takes more than an idea. Add a little creativity and lots of work. As many hours of every day that you can stand. If you have no time then quit sleeping. :)

    If you like to write, google and read a couple articles about net based businesses every day and put what you think or learn into your own article.

    If you like to program, build some tools and offer them.

    If you like to criticise, seek out netbasedbiz shams and expose them.

    You could research different affiliate programs and how they work.

    You could install a forum covering different areas of net biz.

    You could research legal issues regarding internet businesses.

    You could write fantasy stories about deranged housewives who build websites.

    Whatever...I don't know your personality. Sometimes you just have to do it whether you have a clue or not. If you really can't imagine anything, maybe you should drop it.

    I would say! It is not easy to make money from a domain - need lot of time and efforts!!! If you want to play around then start doing somthing with it. Otherwise, sell it.

    Well it may not be that easy but it doesnt necessary to be/take "LOT OF TIME". Manytimes[after just working for 1month on a domain] I sold it just after 1 month for around 2.5k $.

    I say it just needs to get the right theme, right step towards your target. If you really put ur own content[rather than other domains stuff, i dont say it harms if we put others services/features] then i am sure you will surely see sucess.

    It all depends on your strategy how you approach and finish your project[site/domain].

    Guest: that is amazing then! I think that you spent few hours/day for working on your website? More than that you already you are a prof. web designer! ... you already spent years to learn those techniques
