I am currently having a site who wants to come up first in the search engine of google.I want to know how long will it take to beat that page rank 4 site. Between getting 2d rank is also fine.But 2nd rank is just a blogger site having page rank 3.I believe it should be easy to beat the blogger if I launch my site right.Currently I am using co.cc site to beat that.I want to know is it harder for co.cc site to come up Higher in the search engine ranking?Will google index co.cc site?
If you are going to spend your time, which equals money on beating out your competitors and outranking them on the Search Engines then you should be willing to buy a .com, or a .org . In my personal experiences I have never tried to rank a domain extension such as that, but from surfing the web I find mostly .coms .orgs and some .net and .info tend to dominate the search results. We are playing in their ballpark..don't try to beat the rules. Get a .com and play ball
dont get so much focused on PR. just because a site has PR4 doesn;t mean that you will need to do anything special to beat it. also, a blogger blog can be a strong competitor as well. the PR4 site didnt get to the top because it has PR4, it made it to the top because of its onpage optimization and backlinks. analyze your competitors and see how they designed their sites, what kind of content they have, how is their navigaiton, etc. then find out where they got their backlinks from and try to get as many backlinks as you can from the same sources. aside from following your competitor's footsteps, you build your own link building campaign and folow through. its just a matter of time before you can beat the competition
Hi, Don't concentrate on PR, concentrate on SERP. There are so many sites whose PR is quite low but they are in good position in search engine. Obviously you want to be in good position in search engine, so try to build as many as back links from relevant sites, more specially do follow sites.
Don't bother about PR mate. Just keep building quality backlinks from related web pages and you will definitely get 1st place. Good luck for that.

Is it possible to rank higher using a co.cc domain.When co.cc is competing with blogspot which will be given higher preference.I still cannot believe how a blogger is 2nd in the search results for that term with so many searches. I also heard that its easier for a .org site come up than .com because .org sites are mostly run by non profit organisations.Is that true?I have a tv related site.Did anyone heard about co.tv.Compared to co.cc how will co.tv perform.Is it ad free?Thanks in advance.
ya, Google will index your domain but if you take .com or .org domain, then it will be beneficial for you, but don't worry and start working on your website and get good back links,back links will boost your rankings in search engines.
Get a hot .com domain, redirect everything from the .co.cc to .com and start building links. That's when you will see your website on the first position It's not that easy like described, but you should build links, write quality content and that should make it good enough to get your site on top
