What should I do now?

Guys 7-8 days back here on DP I bought a domain thinking it to be PR4.(in every pagerank checker it showed PR4) So I believed it to be PR4. But it was a big bargain for only 33$. I was happy. But yesterday from on it shows everywhere it is forged!!!
What should I do now? Can I demand back my money? Can I report it to the mods?

    Its urgent guys.

That's too bad but I would never buy a domain on pagerank unless I was 100% certain it was legit and the trader was well established.

I would try reporting it but I doubt there is much you can do but give it a try.

Have you contacted the seller? Give them an opportunity to make things right. If it turns out to be a straight up fraudulent transaction, file a complaint with paypal but be sure to state that you did not receive the goods you were promised. JMHO.

Yes, try to contact the seller first. If you dont receive any response from him then you may report to the MODS. Also what was the mode of payment?

If the domain was showing as a valid pagerank a few days back, but is now showing to be faked. It is most likely just because you where deindexed by google..

Often when you buy dropped PR domains, the PR will drop for a period. Get some backlinks and some content, the PR should return if any of the old links are still in place.

If the person selling you the domain claimed that it was a PR4 I would demand my money back & if I don't receive it, I would leave a negative iTrader

Look.. Forged does not mean automatically that the pagerank WAS not valid..

It can mean that it is just not indexed anymore.. So when it gets indexed again it will show as true pagerank..Also the google server that you do the lookup on has influence on the results.. Some google datacenters will have your URL cached.. Others wont.. Use a multiple datacenter lookup if you are in doubt..
