I recieved this spam today through isnare.com I don't know whether to ignore it or report it to Google.
Why jepordize your account 1 per household is in the TOS so once your accounts banned it's banned. Google isnt stupid and I doubt you are and in this case you shouldn't be either. Go with your gut which is telling you its to good to be true otherwise you would not have posted it here Do your dues,, there are no shortcuts that will get you to the goal...hardwork always wins. Peace and good luck.
Ohhh now thats a good one too...Nice thought...but Googles not into doing evil and I think that entrapment is a bit much for them to resort to..especially when they can just watch the IPs of clicks going to the sites to fight fraud.
I would never take the guy up on his services, I have worked too hard on my site to get banned by Google over a quick buck but I wasn't sure whether to notify Google about this email or not, although they are probably aware of these crooks already.
I agree. Stay far away and forward the email to Google. If they don't know about the people already it's good to give them a headsup.
I agree Report this to Google. It really makes my blood boil when I see BLATANT fraud techniques. Don't people get that FRAUD is illegal? I would love to start seeing some of these people prosecuted and going to jail instead of closing accounts and slapping them on the wrist. When I first started seeing "bad" people trying to get around the adsense program. I ignored it. I was so afraid of "being a Narc." That classification scared me worse than reporting the post. DON'T IGNORE IT. You have a duty as an Adsense publisher to STOP this stuff.
IGNORE that message and stay away from it. I personally would recommend you doing that... It's up to you to report it to google.com but remember isnare.com does not recommend or endorse any promotions sent through that feature since after all it was meant to contact the author. After reading this post I recoded that feature to include a warning that isnare.com does not recommend or endorse products that could be sent through that feature. I am sure that was sent manually and not automatically as the Catcha confirmation code is already in place, not unless it was sent prior to the code's installation. The sender's IP address will also be included below the message from now on. Glenn PS: What I mean to say with Ignore is not to forget about it but not to contact or to do business with the sender....
There are numerous Google click-groups. They all get shutdown, eventually. Google tracks clickers in a very specific way -- they have ten thousands computers that aggregate this data. There is no way to perform click-fraud and win in the long run. You can: 1. participate in click-fraud and make $50 extra, and then get banned 2. ignore click-fraud schemes, take longer to hit that $50, but then make thousands over the years after it. You decide.
Don't do it. If you get caught (and you will!) Google will obviously dump all your earnings, so you wont get anything - but more importantly, they'll stop you from using AdSense again - not worth it for a few bucks!
Well I got the same e-mail from the same guy today and reported it to Google - that seems like the best recommendation to me, it lets them know you aren't associated with it no matter what the guy ends up doing (i.e., maliciously clicking on sites or something). Otherwise I just wouldn't respond to him.
What is so unfortunate about all of this is that they will continue -- even after G shuts them down. It seems like there is always a new way around. If these scammers would work as hard on a real business as they did scamming - it would be better for all of us! Oh well, no need to focus on the negative --- work hard, honest and you will reap your rewards.
