Heya, i've ticked the box but im not sure if this is really the best section Btw, im going to start a website about my school, it will be for the students, just a place to meet up, share and talk about somethin relative to our school and other things. I'm looking forward to use an already-made-and-fast-to-setup portal, such as joomla. But i just know joomla, what do you think will be great for my needs? Put away nuke, i hate it Opinions appreciated thanks!
I agree with Kerosene that a simple forum will the trick and be much easier to manage. Many of hosting service have a forum program for free that is easy to set up.
mmm maybe i was unclear... well it wont just be a chit-chat site, i would like a news form too, guestbook, gallery and other stuffs... that's why i was looking for a 'portal' or a cms. btw thanks for the forum idea, i will definitely mind it cause i will need it.
