I'd really like to start accepting and applying for writing gigs, yet I have no idea what I should charge for my writing. I have a pretty good guess that it's above one cent per word, but other than that, I'm pretty much clueless. Here are two samples of my work: (I'm not going to be writing articles for AC, anymore. Too cheap). http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/6172620/top_five_paid_survey_companies.html?cat=3 http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/6170068/three_reasons_why_you_shouldnt_do_sweepstakes.html?cat=35 If you could give me some feedback on how much I should charge per word, that'd be grand. Also, if it increases my article value, I specialize in the field making money online. I'm very knowledgeable in that field, and have many years of experience. Quote please? (Hopefully I'm using the term right, lol)
Hm....your writings are good. Very nice. I am sure you can get a good deal. Maybe $10 for 400-500 or more.
The baseline / average rate that most freelancers charge for articles seems to be around $1 per 100 words. Higher quality writers charge more.
Hmm... so I should charge one to three cents per word. Any other suggestions? (Thanks for the replies, by the way!)
Thank-you for your suggestions, everyone! Hopefully I'll be successful marketing my articles for the first time! And at a price of 2.5 to 3.0 cents per word, too!
I believe you can get anywhere from $5 - $20 for a 500 words article, depending on a few things: 1. Quality of your work of-course. 2. Who do you work for! or Where do you find the client! 3. How do you sell yourself or your work. I am new here too..so lets Hope for the best!
