I'm new to the whole adsense scene, so I'm not sure where I should position my ads for optimal clicking. I don't see much wrong with what I have now since I do have links in my content on some of the pages, but what can be done to improve it? My site is http://www.stevejobs.info/ Thanks for any help at all, I truly appreciate it.
It's been jumping around from 7% (highest) to 0% at days with the same amount of traffic, so I'm not sure.
very interesting website I must say... reading and reading, also watching videos, good job! man I was too inspired with the video of steve, u had on the website I had to put that up on my forum! thx! http://www.flunkme.com/showthread.php?t=681
i think you need to add more content to the site..and have a navigation to those articles on left or right sidebar...its kind hard to jump straight to an article of interest..
Hey, Certainly an interesting site, one of the most unique I've seen out there for a while. I would recommend you try a link unit just under the flash intro for maximum impact. Also, I feel that maybe the flash animation is a bit too big, you may want to look at reducing this down somewhat. Good luck with the site. Regards
I would add some color to the site, even colors on your link ads would make it stand out more and get noticed. No need to use bright colors, even a dark blue would work out fine.
I do agree that you should add color to your adsense ads. Since your content is pretty short, I will rather go with 336x280 with the content wrap around. That way it will not look empty at the bottom. Regards Edward Han
I see that you have the ads 300x250 wrapped round with your content. That looks much better. Again, you might want to experiment with different colors with channel to see which color can generate higher CTR. Btw, how is your CTR currently?
RaZoR: Float the ads left or right using CSS. edhan: I was playing around with different colors and such, and I decided to try and sell the site, but I'll still work on it just in case it doesn't sell. My CTR is around 2%, but there are some days where I don't get any clicks at all.
