I've been promoting a product since earlier last week and I was looking for some input on what I should be doing to maximize my profit and get more traffic. I know these are asked a lot, but I've somehow managed to cross the $100 mark in less than a week's promoting time with 6 sales, and I'm wondering where I should go from here to attain the maximum potential for this niche. I'm at #1 for two long tail keywords, but they really don't have any search volume. They do account for around 50% of my traffic though, which I'm barely getting any of. My highest UV count for one day is just below 30, but it has never dropped below 20 luckily. Should I concentrate on getting more traffic through Ezine? I only have two articles up right now, 3 pending, and its really my only other source of traffic besides google, accounting for 15%. I'm looking at a bum marketing approach right now. No PPC for me yet. How many articles should I try to get published each week? What should my traffic goal be? Any other ways I should be promoting? Last but not least, what's the best keyword research tool I could use (that's free, and the most up-to-date)?
Article marketing is king. Check out my recent reported stats http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=913178
I write 3 articles a day and up to 2-3 sales a day. You may want to get into a little ppc also. I am about to start ppc and clickbank
PPC, squidoo, hubpages, USFreeADS To name a few.. the key here being MORE of what you are currently doing only do it in different places... Jay
Well yeah Supper, but I don't think I can handle writing 30 articles a day like...someone I suppose I'll keep writing articles. On my 2nd one for this hour, and I've written down my next 6 article titles so I'll work on that. Too bad I can't submit them until Ezine upgrades my account. They denied 5 of my articles because my site was under construction (all the links are to the same site). I fixed my site, and now they denied 3 out of the 5, and haven't upgraded my account. :|
