We used to have weight of 2500 before , now it shows JUST 15. What should be the approximate weight for my site? Do you think any problem that we put on our website. Or do u see any other problem. Why the site: and API’s “Pages in URL†show different values. Thanks in advance Jag
If you haven't already, under account settings, change your base URL to http://dealgain.com (Without www) Also try http://www.dealgain.com/default.asp Try them all and validate each time. You might see some difference. Doesn't hurt trying.
I tried with http://dealgain.com. It shows the weight as 50. do u see why this is happening. we used to have a weight of 2500+ a month back
Well.. I've had a site with 136,000 pages indexed and PR6. It normally shows 26,000 weight.. for about 2-3 weeks in between weight dropped to 2,000. Couldn't do much except point more links and force more frequent crawls. Everything looks ok with your pages etc. Point more links is all I can say for now.
Thanks spdude Currently we are running 5 ads. You said "point more links" means add more Digital point links (more than 5) on each page or are you suggesting something different ? Jag www.dealgain.com
