The first step: Setup a website and then advertise. No advertising will mean you get no customers! So start advertising!

    1. First check if the market is there.
Are people willing to buy your services? Are they able to buy it?

    2. You say you provide development services to employees. Do their employers hire you? For direct B2B services, follow this model:

    i. Create a quick website that shows your credibility
ii. Write a white paper that reveals research supporting your approach. Then mail the whitepaper to all the companies you would like as your client
iii. Contact local colleges, chambers or commerce etc - and ask them if you can speak there. Build your public speaking skills. And build your list of companies where you have spoken.
iv. Call up the person in the co. who is responsible for employee training. And pitch him your services.

For a successful B2B marketing approach - you'll need more than just creating a website and submitting to directories and buying pay-per-click ads.

You'll have to build your credibility. And follow up with the person responsible in various companies.
