Traffic Sources statistics for my website(from Google analytics-for last 3 months) Search Engines - 60% Referring Sites -- 25% Direct Traffic --- 15% My website: www.projectsof8051.com My purpose behind running this website: 1. Selling my electronic kits 2. Making money from Adsense/Infolinks ads placed on my site. Now, my Question is: What should be the Ratio of Traffic sources to achieve my purpose 1 and 2. I mean, should I get more traffic from Referring site or search engines. Or any ratio for them?
I think it depends on conversions. Track your source of traffic from those who actually buy your kit or click on adsense ads and see which is better. Search tends to bring visitors who are more likely to buy or click.
