If I have spend USD $200 on buying a domain, building a site, getting content than how much money should I spend on its marketing ? Should the ratio be 1:1 or higher for marketing ? It's important for me to use each penny careflly as I am with limited funds as well as limited time. :)

    Regards

That is the key you must market to your budget, however in most cases a new site will take all your budget... but you must keep at it..............it will not happen overnight

You need to start monetizing your site before you can establish ROI

Marketing and new original content are 2 must do for a new site

Yeah. And always think outside of the box. Be as creative as you can be. (Money and effort are not always a guarantee to do well)

marketing budget should be much more higher than website development/domain name cost etc .in other words marketing budget should be unlimitied you should keep spendining fixed percentage of your earnings from website on marketing each and every month
