Browse around and learn. Somewhere you will find a gap to fit in and make money.

I just joined this forum seriously in this week.
Before this I just register this forum because my friend say I will learn more in this forums but Im not good in english and cannot understand the pro talks. So i just left this forums with no knowledge gained.
Then last week I joined back and found something interested me, that is "contest" sections. In three days, I get $80 from logo contest. Its really make me happy because Im a poor guy LOL. :D
I hope will get more after this. But I have no time to participate in this month because Im going back to home. (now at collegue) :D. Later I will try to compete in logo contest and try to win more.

First off, figure out what you want to get out of DPF and then focus on that. Don’t go in expecting to make money. Take on a few projects at a loss so that you can prove what you can do, that’s the only way you end up building trust with fellow members. Learn the rules of the game in how things get done, what’s the appropriate way to communicate and handle issues and then apply all this to your original goal of figuring out what you want from DPF.

yes reading is very important here. But also, you should try to contribute to threads a bit before starting your own (not talking about this one though). Thats just my personal opinion
