What shall i do now?

    Hi! I am very interesting in SEO and right now i am working on a affiliate-website. I got 2 keywords that i am working at, i have wrote some articles on the website to let the keywords out, and i have also fixed some inlinks (but far from "many").

    Now i wonder, what else shall i do? What's your "secret"? Updating with new articles on a daily basis? Getting inlinks is something that i think is pretty hard to be honest.

    Looking forward for your advice.

    i just do article marketing, Forum posting, Blog commenting etc. nothing more than that. i have never spent a penny in SEO purpose. :)

    Only article submission is not enought.
    You need to do bookmarking,
    blog commenting,
    forum posting,
    RSS Submission,
    Social media.
    Then your keyword will be rank, by just working on article submission won't be enable you to rank your keywords.

    i guess you can doing onpage SEO for 3 months,, like a daily post update.. and after 3 months you starting to doing offpages SEO like link building..

    Consider reading up on all the stuff that you can on the Off Page SEO section. That will give you an idea of where you stand and what you need to do.

    well you should really start working on offsite optimization. Building backlinks.... bookmarking, rss submission, forum profiles , blog comments, social networks, web 2.0 profile, pdf file submissions, video submission, article submission, press release submission, .....
    And not build this kind of backlinks only today... you should keep building backlinks everyday... this is a major ranking factor, (link velocity)

    Build links on a regular basis, no matter how you do it keep building them but make sure they have some link juice and weight to them.
