I am thinking of developing some SEO tool that will check for all your backlinks and get some info about those sites (GTPR, Alexa Rank, anchor text, number of outbound links) and create report about that. The biggest problem so far is getting all backlinks for site. I am looking for (best would be) major search engine with API that can serve me with this data. AFAIK, Google is not doing that and second choice - Yahoo! - can give me only first 1000 results (plus some other limitations as IP based rate limit - 5000 queries of 100 results for day, strict policy and so). Here is link that talks about this feature called Site Explorer Inbound Links. The question is, do you know anything better? Again, search engine with API would be best I guess.
