    I use SEO to build backlinks to increase my rankings and I consider promotion the creation of other web properties to highlight my site.

    This includes (but is not limited to)

    Link exchange
    Article Promotion
    Newsletter Subscription
    Other websites I own
    Blog commenting
    Hubpage building
    Some directory submission

    Focus on forums and directory submission.. Do quality bookmarking and proper usage of blog comments can do wonders

    Hi there. Social bookmarking, directory submission, forum posting blogging, and classified ad posting is the link building I use. Also, press release and blog commenting is also good, depending if the site is authorize and with a high PR.

    2) bookmarking for caching and back link
    3)Article submission
    4.)blog posting
    5.classified for business for more u can study from seo-chat..

    Well...

    Yes we can use this to promote our site to drive traffic through search engine. Any website they need to be follow SEO process to gain good traffic.
