What kind of Search Engine Optimization should I do for my blogs to show up in all the three major search engine – Google, Yahoo and MSN. Few of my blogs show up for certain keywords in Google search engine, but not in Yahoo and MSN. On the other hands, I have two blogs that are doing great at Yahoo, but can’t be found in Google and MSN. How can this be? Don’t search engines somehow have standard procedures, rules, or whatever when listing sites?
google and yahoo/msn algorithm are not the same exactly. it is very possible (usually that is the case) that you are on google top results and nowhere to be found on yahoo or msn.
i think you are talking about your blog in your signature. Treat these urls as website, and do SEO like we do or implement as for website. there is not special procedure for blog to optimize and promote. But you can some different like, post content related to hot topics, fresh content, useful information. Submit in blog directories, submit rss feeds, get links etc.
My dear Friend In order to get traffic from all the three search engines you should do seo for all the three search engine. Merely doing seo for google will not rank you in msn and yahoo. You should start reading yahoo optimization and msn optimization threads and blogs in order to rank well. There is seperate category for yahoo and msn search engine in DP + several other seo forums. SEO your blogs like doing it with a website. Do the basics, free submissions and promotions, link building and optimization for google/yahoo/msn. Good luck!
