Hi Was just wondering what your views on this is. What do you think sells a product better? A single page website with all the information on 1 page and an order button at the bottom taking you to a payment page. or a website with a homepage advertising your product like before but other pages like FAQ pages or terms and conditions as well. There are pros and cons against both. What do you guys think?
Its really just ebooks and webmaster tools that can get away with one page sites with tons of content. If you are selling a tangible product (not digital), most people want the reassurance that you actually exist. This is usually achieved through the contact us, etc pages
What im selling at the moment is a digital product. All the information is on the one page and i was thinking of adding more pages for, like you say. reasurance to the customer. Think i might just keep it as it is for now
If its the same one page site you see everyone with pictures of strangers, around 20 different font types, lots of signatures, that requires you to scroll until your scroll button snaps, no, there is no reasion to add further navigation
Yeh it is like that, Its not got loads of pictures and fancy rightin but its neat and all the infos there. No need in changing it i suppose.
i prefer concise and getting to the point. sites that "pad" too much are mostly junk... if you visit amazon / ebay etc, they dont keep "sweet-talking" you... they give the basics... show pics and the needed stuff... and BUY/PAY/CHECKOUT etc button... CNN - get to the point
As many pages as possible, at least two for every keyword combination relating to your product or service.
I like websites that are simple to browse, easy to find the product and has information quickly to hand. I dont want to be lost in loads of different products on one page. For me clear pages are better for selling.
