    So I am in the process of finding a few searchinges to spend some big bucks on. I have signed up for about 20 different places and loaded in the minimum amount to test their traffic.

    So far I have been ripped off by 2 places.

    www.enhance.com;

    - The problem
    Sent large amounts of NON us traffic.
    Sent possible "hitbot" traffic - Was very un productive, didn't click on anything. Loaded the page and then left.

    - Resolution
    They do not answer their phones or emails.
    I finally managed to get someone on the phone from their parrent company. He stated that "non us traffic" is good traffic. What a joke. Refused to give a refund.

    www.search123.com;

    - The problem
    Sent Iframed traffic from a 3rd party.

    - Resolution
    Denied that the 3rd party was sending traffic at all. I guess it was a 3rd party of a 3rd party. Had no way to stop it.

    These aren't "search engines"... and I've NEVER heard of one of these services being legitimate.

    I agree with Josh, these are just companies claiming to get traffic to your site. Some sites like those send traffic but it might be from Adult sites or other types of sites. If you want to use real search engines stick with the big ones like Google and Yahoo. As they always say, if it's too good to be true, it's not true.

    Bids @ google / yahoo are to high to make any ROI ($3-$4 a click).

    Why do you conder these sites "not search engines"?

    I am actualy having a very good success with a few others so far. Making upwards to $1 per click proffit (on a 5 cent keyword).

    They are pot shots. Sometimes you hit a winner but most times they rip you off. I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap is not always better. If your happy I am happy for you but by your thread I did not get the impression that you were a happy customer...my bad!

    There are only three serious PPC companies which are MSN, Yahoo and Google. Any second tier PPC company is not worth the money spend IMHO.
