    I once created a Ajax blind search engine test that featured on MSNBC, that compared Bing and Google. Users would enter a search and be presented with results from Bing and Google (but not told which was from which), user would select the best result and the results would be added to a chart. Google won by far.

    In my view Google is worldwide the toppest search engine. But In some countries There personal search engines are most used just like Baidu search engine for china.

    It really depends, but usually people are using google because of the number of its users as well and the services it provides.
