    i would only use yahoo and that was it. I guess i used yahoo for about 8 years? or so.. i started using google couple of years ago maybe 2.. I still find myself going to yahoo sometimes to search just because my hands type Y A H O O lol

    LOL did the same here. Now it's mostly Yahoo for me. I hate all the crappy URLs that Google sends. Yahoo seems to be more target Acquisition to me, therefore still use.

    I must be getting old. The first search engine I ever used was http://www.webcrawler.com/. I was then shown http://www.yahoo.com but as a few others said it was pretty bloated with "other" stuff so I only used it when I wanted to see if there was anything the other engine was missing. I must be the only person here who does not get the "hype" of Google. They have admitted they are an advertising platform more then a search platform. These days I use http://www.dogpile.com/ almost exclusively because they pull in results from google, yahoo, msn, ask, and some others that I dont really know. So for me...if your truly "looking"...Dogpile is tops for me. They even just won some JD Power award for customer satisfaction OVER google and the others so they must be doing something right!
