What script does chat use??? Looking for chat script!!!!

Just wanted to know how could i add a chat function to my site.

Actually wanted to implement a single window chat in which two way communication could be established.

What script does it use and where can i get it?

I think that would be needing login ect. Isant it?

I wa looking for something preety simple which does not have anything like rooms or does not need login.
I want it to chat with my coustomers online.

Something like live support or chat with us... for my site.

I signed up and got the widget but hen i try to o to homepage to login to my account the page never loads.

Also one more hing i noticed ther is the preefix www becomes wwwl or wwwm.

Any idea about it?

the wwwl / wwwm is perhaps to load balance across multiple servers.
can you not access meebome.com ?
you could also try cbox.ws as erthy suggested ...

I even signed up and got the widget. But after that i need to log into my account with them to use the feature to chat. So i just cant get there.

Any direct url to their login page??

Cbox is also similar i think but mebome was preety good and attractive.

 

There is a meebo "lite" version
classic.meebo.com/index-en.html

but there is no direct login url.

 

You can make one in Flash using ActionScript but you will need a really good understanding of XML socket connections.
