Hello, I am new here and I am looking for a specific type of ecommerce script. I have searched and reviews many demo's and cannot find what I am looking for. I am trying to get the best option available then have it custamized from there. I need a site were I am not advertising my products on the front page. This will be a detail page trying to get affilaites to sign up. I want to focus 100 percent on affiliates and they have there own url like www.XXXXXXXXXX.com/THERENAMETHEYCHOOSE/ and have it were they can customize the prefferably. Point there own domain name to it. I could go to freelancer and try this but it is gonna cost thousands of dollars. If someone have a program they recommend or sell please let me know. Trying to keep on low budget if possible. Thank You
I am not entirely sure I follow why would not display your products but as far as affiliate apps go I typically recommend this http://www.idevdirect.com/compare_versions.php with the platinum version links that get assigned are something like /101.php and when they get followed that link goes away but still tracks sales. You can observe that behavior here http://www.aquacig.com/102.php/ for instance that way its pretty non obvious that its an affiliate link. With that said, I am not entirely sure I am following what you are trying to do here but I am happy to tell you exactly how to proceed if you can be a bit more specific. hope that helps, Nigel
I have been a sucessful adult toy seller threw websites and ebay. I want to up my services by getting into the adult toy party business. I am looking to setup a site were I am not worried about selling the product. It wont be as large of a selection as my main site. its gonna be around 200 to 300 items. Main section will be about the services and signing up. I am offering the website as a special bonus for the members on top of the other offers they will have. Thank you for your reply. Ok I follow. Magento is a free enterprise level app. I would suggest that you do in fact put the products on the site and run that affiliate software and take sales from both that and ebay. Also winging subdomains like that is pretty labor intensive and requires something other than a shared hosting plan(just food for though on that bit) You can have the best of both worlds here by gluing Magento into your ebay store page with this http://m2epro.com/ which will sync inventory and products as you add them to magento so at the end of the day you are still really only dealing with one system. As far as the party concept goes you can create a party bundle if you will using configurable products with magento so you can sell actual party sets as well that way. Hope that helps a bit. The entire premise of having a website that lets affiliates have something like affiliate.site.com is pretty deprecated business model wise and in 10 years of doing this I have never actually seen that work out for the affiliates. I have started off in this field doing that with a site that gives you your own domain name and your an affiliate you can customize your site and all. Thats how I got started and was able to convert the domian name to my own site. Hardest part when started that was the cache system with over 15k products. Thats why I dont wanna do that for the party site. I do have my items on site and ebay using software. This gonna be its own domain and its own seperate setup from my original setup. They will not link. I will have a shop part on the main site for traffic that comes. I just gotta be able to have alot of custom content on the site to draw them to be intereseted in the services.
Fair enough. From a product perspective that is a nightmare of duplicate content but if you insist you can perhaps check out wpmu but that is not going to address a range of logistical issues though. As I dont find that to be a tenable solution I have no idea how to approach it in that fashion nor do I see an app that would do that efficiently. James, I know this would cost you around thousand bucks if you wanna do it from the start. I have some better idea too. See, there are some scripts that should help your needs. The cost is very cheap too. If you are looking for pure affiliate system it may cost you around 180 bucks. This script is a wanelo.com clone which is a social ecommerce script.
