What salary could you live off?

We constantly hear how people want to have millions and millions of money in the bank but in reality, what would be your ideal monthly salary? What could you live off that you'd be happy and comfortable with?

Obviously we would all like millions...

 

It depends on the living standard of the country. Personally I will say 10k per month

 

about $300 a week will do.... but not lower than $250.. i've a lot of things to maintain....

 

$1200 / month, is enough for me.

I'm earning Around $2,500 per month, which is enough for me to live comfortably.

 

I live in Cali by the beach and in my city it is high price of living. So I would say $5,000 I can live comfortable.

 

To get by and not have to worry about bills, be able to buy relatively small items without worrying if I'll not have enough money to pay bills, go out to eat whenever I want..etc. $2,500/mo would do it. I fortunately make more though.

 

Your salary grade should be in compensation with the services you have rendered to the enterprise. You can determine whether you are compensated or not if your wage can cover your basic, daily necessities like food, transportation and shelter. Discretionary income should also be considered here.

 

Around $4,000/month on 20 acres in Montana works for me.

 

It depends on the living style and expenditures.

 

Around 600 rand a day and is close to 80 dollars aday

 

$1k alot for me

 

i am making more then what can spend at the moment , and if one day i would to just live off what i need.

i would very much prefer to grow my own food and live on it and have my own bee farm , as well as milk farm ,
when i reach that stage maybe i can live off $10 a day since i do not need to buy anything and assuming i own the land already .

before that i guess my monthly spending is not going to be small .
