what`s the future of revenue from websites ..is it will be better? is it will be only google? or there will be more adv CO. like Google? or there will be no google ,no adv CO, no revenue? can one depend on sites revenue as the only income for me?
As the internet expands more and more advertisers will find it an attractive proposition, new internet advertising programs will start and things should get more competitive. Hopefully the AdSense stranglehold will loosen.
Good question. The signs are good for internet advertising as a whole whereas it is looking bleak for traditional media like TV, newspaper, radio as advertisers plough money towards the internet away from the others.
After google offer smart price to advertiser, it's a smart bomb for publisher who run a site with a wrong niche that advertise choose to bid a much less to pay (like $0.01). Revenue from adsense depends on your niche. You should pay much attention to your keywords and niche before do your site if you need to monetize them with adsense. However, they're many ways to monetize your site like affiliate program (cj, clickbank) or Google CPA (like cj but come from Google) but all of them up to your site traffics too.
I think there is every reason to think it will only improve. The high quality site will take over and there will be a consolidation, just like in brick and mortar industries, but for those sites the cash will be there.
