    In 2012, There is nothing more new in SEO, its all about going to be SMO, as of now seo are concentration on FB, Twitter, G+, Tumblr, and one more thing is google panda update is coming with more and more changes, so how to tackle that is the new thing.

    There is no more changes this year but may be Google Panda brings alot in SEO. REst of the things will be same like writing original contents, using keywords and many more.

    dupe content will take a hugh leap... i mean you now have to take steps to protect the content on your blog kind of leap. web 2.0 dies and web 3.0 is born. Social media becomes king... video fads a bit for link building but not traffic funneling.... thats the next 2 years :)
