If you want to build 100 web sites for 100 different plumbers. What would be the best way to set up the hosting so as not to do anything to be frowned at by Google? Would the same IP be ok or would it be better to get different IP's or different host entirely?
Ideally these should be 100 different, unique sites. If you are building them on behalf of the plumbers and don't intend to retain them yourself it doesn't matter if you host them in the same place. If, on the otherhand, you are going to be managing them long term you really want them spread over several IPs.
Try not using the same template for all 100 sites. I have seen tons of real estate sites that are built with the same template, then none of the sites gets any rankings. Create unique content for all 100 plummers can be a challenge, but it is not impossible. In the end, it the content that Google looks for. IP address does matter a lot of all the contents are similar, but it doesn't if all the contents are unique.
Yes I will manage all sites. I don't want to get penalized for some google infraction I don't even know about like considered 100 plumbing sites might be considered spam.
If you're managing I suggest spreading them around on different IPs and trying to make the content of each as original as possible - it'll take a fair bit of work.
Besides the different cities or towns a lot of the words will be the same -plumbing-drain-plumber-toilet-sink-shower what are you going to do? How many sites to per different IP addresses?
