    Looks like the paulians are making up their own percentages again. Fortunately for them, "troofers" are typically not held accountable for dishonesty. It's automatically assumed ;)

    You called the percentages made up. I'm asking which particular percentages you are disputing, so I can prove they are true.

    Ah, will you be creating your own spreadsheet to do so? :D

    Start with the 4% national poll support. Not a made up straw poll by RP supporters. A real, non-partisan poll.

    Let me know what you come up with.

    I came up with about 1% on average, and cited the source... ;)

    Once again, just cause you say it, does not make it so...:D

    I never disputed this poll. What I believe is that it's meaningless, since it's still fairly early in the election cycle. Hell, Thompson has only been in the race about a month now! Polls at this point in the race are typically indicative of name recognition, and it's definitely a focus among Ron Paul supporters. There have been numerous candidates who were polling this low initially who went on to win their party's nomination, and in some cases, the Presidency.

    I'll also admit though, that time until the primaries draws near, and that if Ron Paul's third quarter fundraising numbers and polling numbers don't rise within the next month or two significantly, he will not stand a chance in the primaries.

    Great point Fletch! GTech voted for Clinton even though Billie was a dark horse candidate. Seems a little disingenuous for him to dismiss Paul for being in the same position. But these neocons are tricky. According to Wikipedia, a neocon is a liberal who crossed over. Typically, I find them to be obnoxious, self righteous and most likely to be a chickenhawk, because even though they are louder than they were on the left, they still lack the Canoles to step up when it counts for this country.

    There have been a lot of dark horse candidates, and at this stage, it's way too early to say what's going to happen in the primaries.

    It is really great to hear a politician that actually tells the truth. :)
    ~~~~~~~
    Rudy G is in second place (for now), why?
    Must be the Neo-Cons voting.
    I watched the last debate. The impression I got of Ron Paul, aside from raving lunatic, was, a cross between Ross Perot and Al Gore... Scary..
    I'm pretty convinced the Ron Paul is a democratic plant... He's way too loony.
    So far I count about 6.
    Yeah, Perot wanted a revolution too... I'm sorry, listening to Ron Paul talk, I cannot contain my laughter. He really stretches the meaning of the word moonbat... I felt like I was listening to Art Bell..... What a loon..
    It's impossible for 6 people to make $5.1 million in donations last quarter. The federal limit is $2,300. Considering the average donation was $40, I think you're underestimating Paul's base.
    And I think you're overlooking the 1,000 outside the Michigan debate, the 2,000 at UofM, 1,200 at USC, and 1,400 in Nashville.
    But don't worry, I'm saving you a seat.
    He who laughs last, laughs best. This election cycle is just the beginning. We've already got our successor lined up, and the campaign is building a funding base with the youth that will last a generation. The ideas of liberty and the Constitution never die.
    Your nut is another man's revolutionary. I'm sure a lot of people thought Barry Goldwater was nuts, but he revived the Republican party.
    I'm sure some people called the Founders traitors to the King, that they were insurgents, and we all know how their story went, even how some of them gave their lives for liberty and the Republic.
    History didn't start yesterday or on 9/11 Jeremy. Americans are waking up.
