Now that I've wiped the floor with Huckabee, Gtech's candidate of choice, I will now put Ron Paul in a "boxing match" against Sam Brownback, the choice of Crazy Rob. Ding ding ding, lets get started.

    1. Illegal Immigration

    a. Ron Paul is strongly against illegal immigration, and wants tough border control.

    b. Here is what Wiki had to say about Sam Brownback:

Brownback has a "D" career grade from Americans for Better Immigration which indicates higher immigration levels. [21] Brownback was cosponsor of a 2005 bill of Kennedy and John McCain's which would give amnesty to illegal immigrants already present.[22] He has been criticized by Tom Tancredo for his support for Kennedy and McCain's latest immigration reform bill. Tancredo called him "an extreme opponent of getting tough on illegal immigration."[23] Brownback responded that politicians "must protect our borders, enforce the law, provide legal means for people to work in the United States, and fix a broken system.

During the first round, Ron Paul scored a massive uppercut to Sam Brownbacks jaw on the illegal immigration issue. The referee asks Sam Brownback if he wants to continue, to which Brown back says yes. Ding ding ding, lets start round
    two.........

    Taxes

    a. Ron Paul is a strong opponent against the income tax, and wants to get rid of the IRS, something most Americans want.

    b. Here is what Wiki had to say about Sam Brownback on taxes:

In December 2005, Brownback advocated using Washington, DC as a "laboratory" for a flat tax. He stated, "that making D.C. a test case would, with limited potential for negative impact, provide valuable data about the effects of a flat tax that would prove helpful in determining whether it should be applied nationwide."[27] Some residents of the District believe that the proposed system of taxation would seem to only further what many believe to be the District's taxation without representation.

Ron Paul lands another jab on the tax issue, sending Sam Brownback backwards. The referee agrees that Brownback's legs are starting to wobble, and he may not last much longer........ding ding ding, round three!

    Privacy

    a. Ron Paul believes in the Constitutional protection of privacy.

    b. Here is what Wiki had to say about Sam Brownback:

He has said he does not believe there is an inherent right to privacy in the U.S. Constitution. He has, however, expressed disapproval of George W. Bush's assertions on the legality of the NSA wiretapping program.[55]

Ron Paul surprises Sam brownback again with a right hook on privacy issues. Brownback is down, and it doesn't look like he will get back up............RON PAUL WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

heh, RP minions are always funny!

It's really a shame that RP doesn't take protecting our country seriously though. He doesn't seem to "get it." I guess that's why he has some of the most "questionable" followers.

AGS, cooked one up for you and your buds. They need you.

Hey everyone, stay tuned for Ron Paul's match against Tom Tancredo. After the Brownback fight, everyone wanted to hear what Ron Paul had to say about the match, and here is what he said"

Ron Paul: "I could have knocked him out in the first round but I wanted to do it slowly, so he would remember this night for a long time."

    ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If only Ron Paul would fight terrorists in the same manner. For some reason, he doesn't seem like the "fighting" type. More like the kid that cowers in the corner and says "don't taze me bro!"

Ron is recognized by The Ludwig von Mises Institute of Auburn University and is considered somewhat of an expert on the Austrian economic model.

He's also an author and has written a lot of policy.

Btw, why is it that people are for Fred Thompson? He's super weak on his Federalistic stance. He's even voted contrary to his position on the issues while a Senator.

Gtech, the reason why terrorists target us in the first place is because we meddle in their affairs to begin with, and Ron Paul has made this clear during the GOP debates.

You never hear about Japan or Germany getting attacked, but everyone hates America. I wonder why that is..........maybe it has something to do with all those "regime changes" The CIA has been involved with over the years.

Wow, America, a country where 1/5 of the population can't find the United States on a map(I'm not kidding about this), and a country where we can't even protect our own borders................ but we're chasing terrorists and invading countries in the Middle East.......

After Ron Paul's scheduled match against Tom Tancredo, he will face Fred Thompson next.

I tell you, a large percentage of Americans are just like the chick in this video. I know from first hand experience, because I asked my brother what was the capital of China, and he says Bangkok.

Then today, I thought I heard him say he wants to go into the military, when he doesn't even realize that the government is using stop loss to keep U.S. troops from coming home, they lie about a lot of the promised benefits, and they are also using depleted uranium, which can destroy your body. My brother is also talking about joining the army at a time when the U.S. is threatening to attack Iran. My brother doesn't know any of this stuff because:

    1. He doesn't read. The thread I started recently about 1/4 Americans not reading a book last year is true:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=446663

    2. Hangs around people who are also ignorant and non-informed(they are also broke and in debt).

    3. His girlfriend is young and dumb to.

    4. He would rather watch popular movies at the theater and buy DVDs instead of education documentaries on the Net(which are often freely available.)

I asked a friend of mine what year 911 happened, and he says 2002, when he just earned his Bachelors degree. You see, these videos of dumb Americans are not rigged. As a country, we really are a bunch of idiots.

1/4 Americans didn't read a book last year, and about 30% don't know what year 911 happened. When we watch these videos, a lot of us can't help laughing, but you know, it really isn't funny. A lot of American troops are returning home from Iraq in a box simply because they listened to some recruiter, or their friends, or their family, and didn't get alternative information about the war, or the truth about what was really happening.

This is why the country is falling apart. When you have a public that is completely dumbed down and ignorant, it shouldn't come as a surprise when all your freedoms are taken away.

I mean, we have dumb president, a dumb American public............there is no way America can remain a super power if the public doesn't understand basic concepts..If you don't know what the Constitution says, how can you resist or even know when your rights are being violated?

I reject his battered wife syndrome analysis and blame America first policy. Though I can definitely see a connection between that policy and his supporters here. The notion that if you just leave them alone, they will leave you alone is naive, dangerous and represents a policy of someone so out of touch with reality, that it would actually be scary if he were a second tier candidate. But he's not even a second tier candidate and thankfully, the Republican party will not nominate a man in need of dewussification.

RP had his ass delivered to him on a silver platter for that by Guiliani. The only disappointment that night, was that Romney didn't get a chance to rip him to shreds even further. The following day, his long time aide (campaign manager?) resigned in disgust.

RP has made it painfully clear that he wouldn't lift one finger to protect our country and that seems to directly reflect upon the character of his supporters as well.

The reason that people like Rudy Giuliani is because he gets things done, after seeing 8 years of the Bush administration not get anything done. It would be nice to have some one in the office who is effective in getting things accomplished.

How is staying out of other country's affairs "out of touch with reality?" Since George Washington believed the same thing, I guess he was out of touch with reality to........

Hell, George Washington was wrong..........I guess that is why he was the first president, right?

You mean Giuliani the cross dresser? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IrE6FMpai8

Yeah he is definitely a real conservative

Yeah, he definitely "gets things done" in the video I posted above.

Yep, border protection is not important, it is better to invade foreign countries. I think the current model used by Bush is wonderful....and it really ensures the protection of our country.....I feel safe knowing that we are "fighting for freedom" in Iraq, while hundreds of thousands of illegals pour over our border each year.

The reason people like Rudy is that he plays the part well.

What should scare them is that Rudy basically supports everything Dubya has done, making him another guy who will do a lot, and have nothing to show for all of the effort.

Not to mention that Rudy is a divisive guy and the next President must be able to cross both aisles to either leave the war gracefully or continue to fight until it is done (quickly). Another fascist president with dictatorial delusions will not be able to accomplish much except further damage the country.
