I've heard this contention before. I have to agree with it, it seems to span the gamut, from the common to the bizarre. Much like those of faith.
Roman Catholic... I don't attend mass though. The religion was "imposed" on us since birth. As I grew older, I hated the priests and their ways of making people follow them using God's name... I don't attend masses because of the priests but I pray directly to Christ...
Dont have a religion, Not a atheist either.. Dont even know what a atheist is :|.. I just dont have a religion I do beleave in god though.. Anyhow did you know god actually has a name?? LOL some bible bashers recently knocked on our door and i had a good old yack to them. Talking about the different religions and the bloodshed that rose from them. They told me gods name was jahova (spelling?) according to the bible its true... but i dont know how solid that fact is as man wrote the bible.. not god I call them bible bashers for one reason // They impose religion on people
Agnostic, where is that? heh I guess it's technically not a religion but I suppose if you don't believe in a god/are unsure if there is one, then for me at least, agnostic is the closest thing to a religion.
I am not religious, rather spiritual. I believe in Karma. Religion and spirituality is a personal subject and should not be pushed onto another like so many religious nuts try to do.
In the name of Allah(God) Most Merciful. No other god without Allah(God) for me. I belive Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h & Jesus & Suleiman & Moses & Abaraham and all other Prophets. On the day of the judgement when we all peoples will be collected on one place and the sun will be about 1 1/4 mile from the earth. Than all peoples will directed to one God(Allah).
Magnate sorry for your bad catholic experience, but try to top this one. 6 months of kindergarden catholic school in beirut with nuns the size of nfl linebackers. Thank god we moved back to new york city . No gang is as tough as these nuns were. Got a piece of my cheek torn off lol, but fortunately i made some good friends with priests here in america and i learned what being catholic was all about from positive role models
I am a born Christian but I believe in all religions...namely the destination is the same for all, only the roads are different.
But some religions believe there is only one god, others believe there are many and that it's important who you pray to and how. How do you reconcile that?
I'm genuinely curious as to why you want to have a religion (being an atheist), or consider that atheism is a religion?
Atheism isn't a religion. If your bold, what color is your hair? There is no hair...it's the same thing with atheism.
