What ranks better : '.info' or '.com'

    That is because most website developers want .com. Most people put their time into .com, so that is mostly what you see.

    If there is a domain name that you want, and its available in .info, go ahead and get it. There is no reason why a .whatever can not rank as well as a .com.

    One of my blogs has a .us extension. At one time it ranked right next to my 2 .com sites. But I stopped promoting it, so the site dropped back in the results pages. Even though I do not promote it, it still ranks on pages 2 and 3 in the google results pages (SERPs).
