Hi All Seen wordpress blog with articles from different sources such as article directories and blogs. Just had few concerns. 1. does in affects seo efforts as content is already published? 2. how PR is affected ? 3. where to find quality reprint comtent for blogs in respective niches ? Any advice ..highly appreciated
If you want to have something you can work towards promoting and remain listed in search engines then it might be a good idea to avoid duplicate content.
If you scrape content from other blogs most of your traffic will be from the original authors telling you to stop it.
add value and link back to original article, provide another view point to the article, just do not cut and paste other peoples articles.. it has no benefit to you

If you want your blog to do well you must try to write your own unique content (or pay someone else to write it for you). Duplicate content will only get you pushed down in google rankings. Similar content will only get a few visitors. If someone can get up to date (and better written) info on your blog niche elsewhere, your visitors will go there instead.
