I have drawn a couple of pictures on paper as well as in photoshop of characters that I want to copyright. What are some good ways to prove that these characters are mine if it is ever disputed later on?

is there not a thing where you take a copy and mail them to your self in a sealed envelope then it has the date stamp on from the mail

I remember hearing it but could have just made it up and the thing i heard been completely different

If you are in the US, the only way to do this is to submit them to the copyright office.

I've heard of this too. It seems like a great poor mans copyright proof.

In the US, mailing an image or document to yourself provides no legal copyright protection or evidence in court that you hold the copyright.

Another way i heard of what some crazy guy did was he used to try and predict stuff and would photograph him self with the details of what he was trying to predict in side a bank infront of a clock and calendar that couldnt be changed.

Its probablys not super legally binding but if nobody could access the clock it should be proove

That sounds like a decent way of proving it. Not 100% but it's good evidence.
