What programs do you use ?

    Hi,
    I'm new here but that doesn't matter very much.
    I want to ask you what programs do you use to create graphics, images, layouts. I'm interested in layouts more, because I use photoshop Cs3 to do it. Do you use other programs ?

    Photoshop is best for designing layout! I also use photoshop for most of the web graphics work.

    Photoshop , Illustrator , Fireworks and Dreamweaver . Plus i sometimes get ideas while working in Flash , InDesign , AfterEffects or 3dMax .

    Adobe Photoshop is the best for designing layout. I mainly use Photoshop and Illustrator for designing purpose.

    Nice list and I think that Fireworks its the second best program for design after photoshop.

    I use Flash for everything, but Photoshop really is one of the best. Others are Paintshoppro which a lot like too, and Sai for real drawing.

    I also use gimp - mostly because it is a bit simpler than the adobe suite and I get confused with those. Our designer, however, uses illustrator and the rest of the design suite from Adobe. is it now pretty much an industry standard for designer types?
