Except for PHP, Java and Microsoft Programming languages.

What other open-source programming language you think will become in-demand eventually on the world wide web? I mean a programming languages that is very similar to PHP that is widely use by most websites today.

I'm planning to learn and study another programming language and I might get some tips here on what language will I pursue studying.

Nope. I see PHP dominating for a long time yet. Though it would be sensible if you cross-trained in Python.

PHP is in the position Perl was in ten years ago. This isn't to say that the ship is sinking but that you are right to be expanding your skill set. Personally I'd recommend Python, another choice option would be ruby.
