What Programming Language Do Google Use For Its Sites ?

No extension is displayed in most of its sites

Wonder what programming language they use

 

Googles orkut use asp.net
some of them use php.

 

Python for its search engine and help support.The interactive Google Websites such as GMAIL are powered with Google Data API .

 

What about youtube ?

 

actually google used different languages so we cant predict any specific language

 

C++ for the complicated behind the scenes things (search algorithm etc), I think.

 

So google are on linux or microsoft servers ?

 

I doubt windows...although ASP is windows only, right? So they have at least one windows server, but I expect mostly non-windows servers.

 

i came to know that python is one of the main lang. used by G .

 

I am not sure not I think Google uses Python language for most parts of their sites.

 

Python, C++, Php and ASP.net all on diffrent diffrent aplications and projects.
so hackers could keep on guessing, what to do to attack them.

 

I do believe they use python, C+ and java.

 

I totally agree with the above, they keep on using different programming languages all the time, depends on the application they are developing.

Sounds like the algorithm is C++. I also went to a Google conference and the employees said they used C++ but have the option of other languages.

 

Google hides every important thing such as algorithms for SERPs, PR and so as the development languages.
