Hey, curious what program you use to make your youtube videos, I'm thinking of doing some advertising and I need a program I can splice and manipulate so I can make my own videos. :) What do you suggest?

Have you tried your Windows movie maker? or you can download a trail copy of Camtasia Sudio 7, if you like it then there is a fee to own a copy.

Hmm, do you have to choose to have that installed in the beginning? I'm on my bfs laptop and he doesn't seem to have the movie maker, I've searched his program list now maybe I'm just retarded but I'm not computer illiterate, I've just never installed the movie maker hahaha. xD

Windows Movie Maker and Paint or Paint.net. They are all FREE and pretty easy to start with. Then you can move on to Camtasia if you want!

I make my videos with Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie Maker. First for good long quality videos, second - for simple marketing videos.

Movie Maker is great software yes. I never tried Pinnacle Studio though - but will take a look at it at some point if I do another marketing video for one of my clients. Nice tip MarkMc ;-)

If you ever decide to do some screen casts I like camtasia. Tried other options but cam has worked great for tutorials etc.

Yes Camtasia is a great on screen recorder. If your looking to film your own videos then you might want to look into Sony Pro for software with a decent hd camcorder.

I think voice quality is very important when presenting your videos. People will accept avearge visual quality but will immediately click away if the voice quality is lacking. So investing in a good usb microphone will help. I personally use EditorKeys SL600 which gives awesome sound quality. It is a bit pricey but really worth it.

I use Windows Movie Maker for now... However, get Camtasia! By far the best screen recorder I have ever come across. The post above mine mentioned it and I can't recommend the software enough. If you want to market your sites/products on video sites, camtasia will allow you to easily capture what's happening on your screen. You can talk in the background. it's perfect for viral marketing through youtube and other video sites.

I'd like to recommend AVS Video Editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try

Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question

Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Sony Vegas - I think they are the top 3 software for video making and editing.
