I run multiple sites for a product and each one of these sites produces a high conversion rate. The only problem is the traffic level.. which can be worked out. Are there any products or services that people have used with adsense that have produced a high conversion rate. I know keywords are important, but I have used some keywords that pay out well with adsense, but they get no traffic or conversion. Is anybody out there willing to share what they believe is a product or service that people are willing to click the adsense links? My experience has shown that products with high demand but with high price usually result in high conversion with adsense. Your thoughts?
I don't think he wants to sell a product. I think he wants to feature a product in his content that will attract and convert people to click through on his AdSense ads. He wants to make money from AdSense not selling the product. If I'm right then the last two replies which advised him to use AdWord or other PPC services have totally misunderstood the question. If normanmillier can clarify the question then I'll try and answer the AdSense inquiry.
Your right Compar...I want to feature a product and get revenue from the adsense. Anybody know of any products or services that do well?
All products that people search for will do reasonably if you a) design your site well, b) get good SERPs for that product.
Took the words outta my mouth Why let Adsense determine what product you sell.. with Chitika you can specify the exact ad you want to display.
Also now days, there are NO guaranteed high keywords when it comes to AdSense, if 'smart pricing' hits your site(s) even financial ads will pay as low as 1 cent, 3 cents etc, while on someone elses site that may pay over $1.00 each.... so beware
you are correct bluegill I see this alot on some of my sites. I have a pr6 insurance site that pays around $2.30 per click. I also have a general insurance site that is pr4 with 20% of the traffic that pays 30c for the same adds. What really hacks me off is when you can get $2 for say "blue widget" and you are served 7c clicks all day long for "get blue widget" "buy blue widget" ect. regarding chikita,I have a site that is high traffic product related that is screaming out for there type of ads. I have joined up this weekend so am just waiting for the confermation email from them. Am i right in thinking i cannot use contextual ads alongside adsense, but its ok to use keyword ads together ?
Yes you can use Chitika keyword based ads on the same page as AdSense. Keyword based ads are now the default ads that Chitika displays code for.
Norm, Morning: wake-up keywords Afternoon: eat keywords Evening: anything intoxicating keywords Last: skys the limit? -PYJAMA
I posted some code (check the site in the sig) to rotate Chitika keywords by day of the week.. If someone really wants, I could do it so you can change them by time of day.. not a big deal but might have to be in PHP.
IMHO all "products" are in demand as far as advertising goes. It's the keywords, that people are searching for pure information is not in demand for advertising.....
