What press release distribution service do you use?

As the title says. What press release distribution service do you use? Do you submit your press releases by hand? Or do you pay a company to submit your press releases ? Is it worth it for a new online store (will contain generic gifts and presents)? Thanks

I use PRweb at the 200 dollar level, so that I can get text links in the release and page 1 rankings for a couple days. I write and submit them myself.
Look at PRweb's writing guidelines (even if you dont use them to distribute) Write your own, they only need to be a few paragraphs. I think it is worth it it gets your name out there and the release itself ranks in google searches. Just like any other webpage, if you can get some links to the realease over time. Its even better.

There are also many free press release options. Prweb has free distribution, plus there is a site called free-press-release.com

Another site that I have got a few sales from for 10 minutes of work is www.pr.com make a company profile and add your press releases to your profile, its free also.

I think the big boy in this game is definitley PRWeb.com ... I don't think any othe will compete with the results it can bring you.

A good press release with them and a few bucks could get you listed with some major websites, including google.
