Just wondering how you faired in the PR update, click off the PR levels you now have for your sites. Ours are 4, 5, 5 and 6.
stayed at 4 for most (was 5 up to the last PR update) arghhhh Congrats to those who are seeing increases.
Googlebot visits this forum continuously. www.googlebot.com redirects to google.com wihch is PR10. Maybe the bot is so clever it interactively participates in the pages it sipders
Hi I am confused index page stayed pr3 - internals went from 0-4 some went from 2-3 i was sure i was up for a 5 on my site index!!!! Any ideas?
Same thing, Jim. A minisite of mine had PR0. Now it has a pr3 homepage, but one of the inner pages is PR5, and it doesn't have any links pointing at it!!
I have a site with PR3 index and PR4 for all pages linked off of the index. Strange. A site that has been sitting for a year without any change in linking went to PR4 for ALL pages!
A few new sites I started a couple of months ago went from PR0 to PR5 on the main pages and PR4 - PR2 on internal pages. .
What update? I'm still stuck at 0. I think I'm in the sandbox...my site only been live for about 2 months.
Those with the homepage 'issue' did you check the non-www vs. the www version? It depends on what Google sees as your canonical root. If you have links coming in to both without redirecting one to the other then you have it set wrong.
Strange thing is that it is the links page, lol Oh, well, I guess it's Google indication that I should start trading links and using a nice PR5 page for it And I don't have a www, this is a subdomain
