what plugin is the site www.directoryblogger.com using to allow users to create an account and submit post themselves?
I think he is asking about the plugin that the site is using...head on to wordpress and you might find the plugins there. Site does uses wordpress as I think you already know that.
well then the answer would be, he uses no plugin. by default wordpress allows user to register and submit content (check setting in admincp)
i dont think they do, i started a thread on the forum asking if it was possible to allow users to register to the blogs and submit articles, he said it was probably some type of mod or plug in
heres a blog i own, it has 0 mod installed & here is the registration link http://www.justanotherlink.com/b/wp-register.php
Yes, without any mod, anyone can sign up with a wordpress blog to post. All that needs to be done is to set the default role (permission) of each new signup in admin panel so that new user can post a blog article.
Wordpress can be a handy little tool for a directory of sorts. Excellent spam bot blocking, auto pinging of update services, rss feeds, clean code. And a plugin for pretty much anything you want. I've used it a few times. Cheers, Dave
