I tried photopost pro but wasn't happy because the "integration" didn't seem to extend beyond the login. I am going to try this next, but have not gotten it loaded yet. http://www.cpurigs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2056
So far we are very happy with PhotoPost PHP Pro works quite proper with Vbulletin, check here: http://gallery.techarena.in Photopost Site: www.photopost.com
PhotoPost is great IMO but their search engine friendly URLs aren't very good. We had to re-write a TON of stuff in order for that to really be effective. In the end counting man-hours we almost wish we'd gone with another product that had better SE-friendly URLs, but if you aren't too worried about that then I think PhotoPost is the best package out there.
I m using vBSEO and i m sure they have something for that too so i dont think i have problems with that but i think i have only problem is is it easy to install
Hehe. Unfortunately, you, as I did, suspected that anything remotely related to vB would be covered under the vBSEO rewrites. That's not the case. Just because the software ties into the vB database doesn't mean it will use vBSEO. It was fairly easy to install yes, and it's fairly easy to use and has all of the features I was looking for. But if search engine friendly (keyword targeted) URLs are what you're looking for you won't get it with this package. Just trying to forewarn you a little bit so you're not surprised after you plunk down $150 for it.
nah but i heared it is hard to install like i have DreamHost and i dont know i wanna spend only the gallery money dont wanna give them more for a "PROFESSIONAL installation".
Personally I didn't think it was difficult at all. Then again, I have a pretty good background in PHP and MySQL so the instructions were very easy for me. Your mileage may vary.
yea and i have only problem wen they tell me for some cgi-bin or whtever it is otherwise i just install it just like i did with vBulletin so i should go with Photopost rite.
PhotoPost was PHP so if I'm remembering correctly I just had to point the config file to my vB database information and let it install. No funky cgi-bin stuff with it. It does give you the option of putting the database information in either the vB database or in its own seperate database but for real integration you'll want to give it your vB database information.
ahan well i think i should buy it now. Since, vBSEO have something for that too for SEOing the photopost.
i said that cus of this Thread in vBSEO http://www.vbseo.com/f9/photo-post-pro-3965/?highlight=photo+post
