what period of time after indexing a link to me will google credit me for it

    hi, as other websites add links to me, first google needs to crawl them of course. after what aproximate period of time will a certain link help me rank better for the keywords in its anchor text. example: today google finds a link to me with text 'russian women'. after how many days i will hopefully start feeling benefits and rank better for 'russian women' on google.

    I don't really think there is an exact answear to that. It depends every time! It's like traffic in the city - sometime things goes smoothly, and sometimes everything stands still.

    i dont think anyone really knows, except for the google programmers.

    It could be instant or it could be after google has spidered that link several times. :)

    It depends on when/how many times googlebot crawls the page, and other factors determin when the link appears in results.
