Interesting. On a related note, Yahoo has deindexed a couple sites I have running Adbrite. Not that I care all that much. Yahoo traffic doesn't convert anyway.
google (organic) 16,602 50.55% yahoo (organic) 4,085 12.44% bing (organic) 3,100 9.44% (direct) ((none)) 2,747 8.36% google (cpc) 1,380 4.20%
Google is what the major big player in the market and so lots of traffic will be coming from Google only, as far as yahoo is concerned a limited number of users do search but not as compared to Google.
I reckon I get about 5% of traffic from Yahoo, which is about what their market share is here in the UK too I think.
Most people get more than 90% from google. especially with more search engines like yahoo bing, facebook, twitter, etc.More traffic is from google and second from Yahoo.
i get about 40 percent , and im surprised everybody else isnt , due to the fact you always end up having more backlinks from sites yahoo recognizes than google , so i would expect it easier to rank on certain keywords and create more traffic
Though I have little better stats in terms of percentage as I have 15+% yahoo visitors but I do agree with you that they do convert well... probably because the number of visitors itself is less as compared to big G! Regards, RightMan
