what percentage of your site's revenues go for hosting ?

    Hi.
If I upgrade my dedicated server to what my server-management is recommending to meet my resource needs, I would be re-injecting 100% of my sites revenues and even using some of the current sum in my paypal account.

Would that be reasonable to you ?

What percentage of your sites revenues do you dedicate for development and maintaining your sites ?

what percentage of the revenues should be considered as a maximum to pay for the hosting fees ?

By resource needs do you mean storage pace for your content (forum, posts, etc) or bandwidth for higher traffic?

How much will upgrading your hosting cost, can you please say how much it cost before and how much on the new plan and what the increase a bandwidth would be?

I forget the exact name but I was on the webpage of what seemed to be a reliable hostage company that provides unlimited space for a standard price, the bandwidth increases automatically as your needs for resources do but the price stays the same. I'll check it out for you.

If you are running a self hosted blog, paying for hosting services should properly allocated with funds. I'm not exactly sure how much did I spend for my hosting but it should be about 2% of my total income for last month.

None. Why would I? I use FrontPage to do the occassional changes here and there myself. It's completed anyway, and it is on auto pilot.

With hosting being under $40 a month to run even a somewhat large site, I guess it would be safe to assume that it would be less than 1%.
