Personally, I reinvest 30% into business. Just wondering what everyone else does, whether or not I'm part of the norm.
depends all what i want accomplished, if it is a new site I will re-invest 100% of the earnings to try and double once I am happy with the residual income comming out of the site I will invest 15% to keep up maintance and more adds etc...
Every last penny gets invested. It doesn't make sense to skim early on. You're only hurting your chances of success. (Unless of course you're generating thousands and thousands of dollars per month already).
Im just starting out too so i spend all my money unless i really need to buy something (ie plane tickets, birthday presents, other presents, meh )
I am building a future , not a business so I sink 100 + percent into my future , I dont want a business .. that would make me an employee I work to be free , not to have more business. I currently have 1500 websites that someday I will just sell and quit - and get into helping families who have been destroyed by tragedy - my dream is to help take a tear from a mommies eye or to keep a child from feeling unloved. I can always be an employee ... but I have been carefull to plan it out so that I dont have to be forever. I sincerly hope to be able to realize this someday
I would reinvest any between 30 - 50% back into the site depending on what kind of site it is. Some sites only need a certain amount of investing till the site starts generating enough traffic and revenue to hold your head above water. Some people would disagree with this. Just some sites need a monthly reinvestment for the duration of the sites life.
I invest 75% no matter what... my motto is that is takes money to make money so the more money I make the more I spend... when i reach that million dollar mark then maybe I'll lower the 75% down to 30% but for now, i'm all about reinvesting.
