And what does it give to the publishers ? Anyone has any clues on this ? Do you think its arbitrary ?
No one knows their percentage , everyone just have an idea, I never care for the percentage they take from clicks because what i am earning , i am happy with it
Google has never mentioned any percentage that it keeps or distributes to the publishers so its tough to say! It might be arbitary but I think that they would be keeping a fixed percentage of the profits from each click!
do a search for this in this forum, you will find more precise informations ( people don't like to say the same thing more times ), i think they keep the same ammount they are giving to publishers
I've heard before that it's about 50%. But as said before, just be happy with what you get, there is no way you can increase your share.
Its more like 22%. According to their financials, the share for publishers was 78%, so I figure they kept 22%.
That percentage 22% or even 30% or 50% is on average right ? Does it vary you think depending on whether they are high paying ads or low ones ?
Probably, knowing google they wouldn't keep a fixed rate for every one of the millions of sites adsense is on. Google has all those brains and computers that love to make things complicated, they wouldn't do a fixed rate for everything as it is too simple, I'm sure they have higher percentages for higher paying ads.
